About this cottage rental
The cottage retains many original features, including exposed beams and period details, while offering light and well-proportioned accommodation throughout. The sitting room is fitted with a Clearview log burner, with a second log burner located in the hall/snug area. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and a practical utility room with sink. The bespoke painted wooden kitchen is well equipped and features an Aga and an integrated fridge freezer with an ice maker. Underfloor heating runs through several areas of the cottage.
To the rear of the property is a quiet, enclosed walled garden that enjoys plenty of sunshine. It is furnished with a dining table and chairs, a wooden bench, teak loungers and a brick-built barbecue, providing a comfortable space for outdoor meals and relaxation.
Bells Cottage sits on the Oxfordshire Way and is ideally placed for exploring the Cotswolds on foot. Walks lead directly to nearby villages such as Kingham, Churchill and Nether Westcote, all known for their excellent pubs. Daylesford Organic Farm and shop are also within walking distance, and the village itself has a well-stocked community shop offering fresh produce, meats, delicatessen items, wines and beers.
