Cathedral Bucharest Suites

Very helpful host, who quickly reacted to a plumbing issue and the lack of toilet paper (there was only half-used a roll in the flat, but he brought more). Quiet neighborhood (nice change after a very noisy place in the city centre), large room and large comfortable bed. Capsule coffee machine (with complimentary capsules supplied by the host), complimentary water in the fridge supplied by the host, cutlery and bedside lamps (worh mentioning, as there was no cutlery and bedside lamps at another place in Bucharest I stayed), air conditioning, large smart TV, microwave.

Iffy wi-fi, worked well on the big smart TV, but not on my devices (Chromecast). There were slowdowns and sometimes it would disconnect. Bathroom is large, but shower cabin is a bit on the small side. Only half a roll of toilet paper was there, but the host quickly supplied more. This specific apartment is on the ground level, with windows facing the street, so in theory there is very easy access from the street. In practice it was not an issue, the neighbourhood is very peaceful and quiet.

The bed was comfortable. The location was great. The washroom had lots of drawers to keep my toiletries. The kitchen had lots of cupboard space too. The balcony tiny but cute. It was a secure building and I felt safe. Angel and his wife were very kind and welcoming to me and when the hot water wasnt working and I let them know they came to fix it. And because of the hot water not working they let me have a late checkout. Very nice place id recommend.

I didnt like there was no stove as I like to cook but it wasnt a big deal. Or that if was one room and no living room. Even these things didnt take away from the fact it was a very nice place very comfortable and they were very accommodating. Thank you so much for my stay.
