City Garden Apartments

It was a quiet haven for the weekend. Near enough the old town to have a siesta out of the heat each day

The outside garden space for relaxing was really welcome. We liked being met by our friendly host, who had really gone the extra mile in trying to think of everything a guest might need. The proximity to shops, town, park, bus was good and when the doors and windows were closed there was no street noise.

The kitchen/dining arrangements were a little cramped, and the apartment is ground floor with windows on one side only. These are very minor things.

Lovely hosts, helped us with all we needed, quick communication was a huge plus since we had a baby and needed time to time some assistance. All great exactly what we needed. Very clean and great location plus it feels like outside of the crazy city of Bucharest which is something I appreciated a lot

Toilet without a window isn’t great but that’s kind of standard in Romania, it was still ok!!!

The property has private parking in a gated, cobblestoned yard off one of the main streets of Bucharest. Just be aware that the street is 4 lanes one way and one bus lane the other way. Don't drive down the unmarked bus lane to turn left into property. Ask about the history of the yard - it was the stables for the fire brigade in the late 1800s. It is near to Parliament and Old Town so very convenient, if you consider < 1km walk as near. The host is very friendly. We got on very well. He speaks excellent English. There is a private garden area for guests to use. It was a lovely apartment.
