I stayed at Eco Hotel by Flamingo for three nights with my family — my wife, our teenage child, and myself — and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was excellent — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. There was always access to a water cooler and tea or coffee, which was a nice touch for the whole family. The breakfasts were decent and satisfying. We were even offered food upon arrival after noon, which was incredibly thoughtful after a long journey with a teenager. The atmosphere was cozy and peaceful, perfect for a family stay. Overall, a great place to stay in Baku — highly recommended for families!

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and overall we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is not too far from the city centre and is easily reachable on foot. It is a beautiful, modern and quiet property, with spacious rooms and a very nice overall atmosphere. The breakfast was also very good. But what truly made the difference was the extraordinary woman working at the reception. I have honestly never seen such dedication in a hotel before. She seemed to be working day and night for the entire 48 hours we were there. At any time of the day or night, she was there, always available and always ready to help. She appeared to be the only person taking care of the reception, and I genuinely hope the management appreciates how much she does. From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind and professional. She even showed us several rooms so that we could choose the one we preferred. This beautiful lady was exceptionally polite, respectful, gentle and helpful throughout our entire stay. Honestly, she was like an angel. A huge thank you to her for taking such good care of us and of this beautiful hotel. If I were the owner, I would definitely give her a significant promotion or raise — she deserves it enormously. ❤️

Unfortunately, there was one important issue that really upset me when I arrived. I am a person with a disability and health problems, including difficulties sleeping, so having two separate beds was particularly important for me. I therefore deliberately booked this hotel, even though it was more expensive than many other options, because the room was advertised as a “Twin Room.” I chose it specifically because I needed two separate beds. However, when I arrived, I was told at reception that the room was actually a double room and that they could not guarantee two separate beds. This was extremely frustrating, especially because I had paid extra specifically to have what was advertised as a twin room. I want to make it very clear that the receptionist herself was not responsible for this issue. She was incredibly kind throughout, and I am grateful to her. My frustration was entirely with the way the room is advertised. If a hotel cannot guarantee two separate beds, then in my opinion the room should not be advertised as a “Twin Room.” The description should clearly state that the room may have either one double bed or two separate beds, depending on availability. Unfortunately, despite paying more than I originally wanted to spend in order to have comfortable sleeping arrangements, I ended up having to sleep on the floor for both nights. So my main recommendation to the management would simply be: please change the room description and do not promise something that cannot be guaranteed. The hotel itself is lovely, and the receptionist deserves the highest praise, but the room description needs to be much more transparent.
