Chalet du lac des pèlerins

Responsive hosts and very accommodating. The wooden chalet was cool when we arrived in the 32° heat and it stayed cool. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Compared to other listing, this was competitively priced. Also great quiet location just a couple of stops away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. The hosts provided a small hamper of biscuits, snacks and beer which was a nice touch.

The view of the peaks was poor as it was obscured by the very large chalet immediately behind. The cooking pots were very worn and should have been thrown out long ago. The Teflon on the main cooking pot and frying pan was scratched off extensively leaving deep corrosive exposed aluminium. Likewise the kitchen knives should have been replaced as one was loose at the handle and all were blunt and needed sharpening. Lastly, the top of the stairs is directly next to the bathroom and there is no handle or bannister to hold on to at the top so potentially a hazard.
