Villa Monticello by Perle di Puglia

The property itself has been beautifully and sympathetically restored. There was a restful air of calm and elegance which I really loved and the pool was an absolute bonus, whenever we were at the property we spent all our time in it or lazing around it. The attention to the landscaping was perfect with lots of lovely seating areas for all hours of the day and the provision to cook outside on the gas hob or the ovens/bbq was another great idea by the hosts. The hosts themselves were incredibly attentive, thoughtful and helpful, I really couldn't fault them. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Villa Monticello.

I think the only downside was that we could not walk to a restaurant, but then perhaps it would not have been so peaceful!

One thing that truly deserves special mention is the amazing outdoor kitchen. It was an absolute pleasure to cook there and enjoy our meals outside. Everything was thoughtfully designed, and the cozy atmosphere made every meal feel extra special. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible stay. He was always available if we had any questions and went above and beyond to make our holiday memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Monticello to anyone looking for an exceptional place to stay in Puglia. If you're considering booking it, don't hesitate—you won't be disappointed.
