Beach, BBQ, Waterfront Ambleside Resort in Bobcaygeon, Kawartha

Great location. Five minutes from all conveniences in Bobcaygeon, fifteen minutes from Fenelon Falls. Beach, just steps from the door. Main bed was comfortable.

Kids beds were not so comfy. Not that clean, not filthy or anything, but lots of dusty cobwebs in the corners. The property has been allowed to become run down, which is really a shame, because this is a very nice spot.

We had cabin 2 it was clean .Close to the lake .Good for one person or a couple.The deck was nice with the table and chairs.It has a full size fridge , a stove top .and a bbq.We spent a lot of time outside by the lake or on our deck .It was very relaxing.It does have AC that was great.It was a nice spot if you don’t mind a small place.We stayed 5 nights.I would definitely return but I would probably get the two bedroom for extra space you can put your things in one of the rooms .The area was well looked after .The staff was cleaning outside every day raking the weeds and cleaning the property.

It said it has an oven but it doesn’t only a stove top .It worked out ok just be prepared if you were planning to use the oven.It’s very small but when we put everything away we had lots of room .The couch was very uncomfortable and the TV had no remote .TV was more for connecting a game system. The wifi was good on my phone but not on the tablet for Netflix it was too slow.

The cabin number 1 is outdated, needs an urgent great renovation. Poor cleaning in general, the mattresses were very uncomfortable, specially one of the single beds, it was noisy too! The mosquito net falling apart and very dirty.
