Hal`s at Killynick

Loved it. Two adults two children for two nights. The kids first camping experience. The guy who met us shortly after arriving was sound. We had a blistering hot Friday and a washout on Saturday but in between spells there were lots to keep the little ones entertained in a safe environment. We would highly recommend and would love to return and stay in the pods onsite soon! Thanks ever so much.

Beautiful location, spacious comfy tent with all you need to just arrive and throw in a few sleeping bags! Great value for money, Clean toilet/showers very close to accommodation. Well equipped campers kitchen. Friendly, helpful staff.

Full access to the kitchen, including fridge, kettle and coffee machine.

The tent was fantastic. Lots of room. Perfectly clean. The site is beautiful… peaceful and quiet… but kids (age 4 &8) still entertained. The family pig at the top of the lane is so friendly and comes running over to see you. Even the cows were super friendly. There was a little forest area the kids loved to explore with their flash lights. There were great board games and children’s books available. Fermanagh farm is a short drive away. And lots of restaurants too. We had our own little camp fire to light- we toasted marshmallows. Toilet and shower facilities were lovely and clean. The site is small, it felt safe and homely. Glad we picked the tent and not the pods as the camping experience was so perfect. The hosts are a lovely family. Super friendly but also left us to have our own time to ourselves. Perfect!!

Absolutely nothing not to like!

Friendly ownership, really quiet and peaceful. We got lucky and had the whole site to ourselves as we went on a weekday. Lovely set up lots of space. There were books, boardgames and outdoor games as well as Hugo the pig up the lane that the kids were delighted to feed their crusts to. The man over the facility was very welcoming and friendly and chatted away to the kids too. There was a gas stove and little kettle for tea as well as camp beds, deck chairs and a box of firewood so we didn’t have to bring much. The kids enjoyed walking through the woodland area and lovely view of the boats at the marina. We would love to come back again some time for sure as it ticked all the boxes for us. There is lots to do within a short drive too. We got a takeaway from Belturbet and visited the playground and also went to the Marble Arch caves. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
