The owner was exceptionally friendly and replied really quickly to our sudden booking. All of the facilities were modern, clean, homey and comfortable. The toilet in this location was the most modern and comfortable I ever had in Japan. The area is quiet and beautiful, perfect for a mid-way stop for the Shimanami Kaido. Beds are comfortable and spacious, the entire place is air conditioned by multiple independently adjustable air conditioners, which were all clean. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious, it's the most usable kitchen I have had the opportunity to use while in Japan. The fridge is stocked with drinks and some food, there are plentiful snacks available in the kitchen. The bathroom was also well equipped, there was even a hair straightener! Toothbrushes and toothpaste were also provided for 4 people. The tatami in the bedrooms was in good condition. The traditional elements of the house added good flavor to our short stay. The home is large enough to comfortably fit 4 people, there is plenty of room for luggage too. This was the best place I got the fortune of staying in Japan so far and I would like to visit again for longer sometime on a future trip.
