Studio near Airport, Port, Beach & Ancient Temple of Artemis

The studio has everything you need and is a cool yet bright retreat from the Greek sunshine. It has a wide and sunny patio right outside, with seats and tables for drinks/eating, plus the same again in leafy shade just beyond... where you can pick fresh lemons from the tree. Yota is a wonderful host - kind, friendly and full of knowledge on the area, on Artemis (of huge local importance - the Temple and Museum just south of town are an absolute must-see) and Classical Greek history/mythology generally. The street outside is almost silent and there is a great local bakery, plus minimarket, cafe and bus stops all 5 mins walk away - with the beach just beyond. Borrow the bike(s) and cycle the short distance to the beach for a morning or evening swim. Very much enjoyed staying here, and got the airport bus from the end of the street when it was time to leave - amazingly easy. Absolutely recommended.

No problems at all. Toilet/bathroom external to the studio but this is part of the charm.

Super close to the beach and had a very cozy, homely feel! The host is so so welcoming and really went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. She was able to pick us up from the airport, drop us off at the port the next day, and even went as far as making my companion and I a welcome coffee, tasty pastry, and a snack (fresh apricots from the tree in the yard with honey and walnuts. It was so yum!). The beds were very comfortable and had extra blankets incase you get cold at night. We also were able to borrow a bike from the property and checked out some local live music at night which was a hoot. Our stay was perfect and efficient as it's close to both the airport and port in Rafina!
