Hello Bronte!

Convenient location, 15 mins walk to Bronte beach and surrounding suburbs.

The property was just a studio but its advertisement gave the impression that it was a one bedroom apartment. The furnishings were basic and the bed was a wall foldout bed, although it was not uncomfortable. The unit looked partially renovated. The shower did not have a shower door installed. This meant that the bathroom floor was perpetually wet. The bath mat that was provided after the guest moved in looked dirty. The surfaces of the kitchen beach top and the washing machine should have been wiped down before a new guest arrives. Except for liquid hand soap and a toilet roll, the bathroom did not have any other toiletries. TV reception was poor and the TV was not programmed. Except for parts of Ch10 and SBS news which was available at one point, guests need to have subscriptions to watch everything else. The walls were poorly insulated, you could hear the news from next door but not watch it on your own TV in the room. Some thoughtful provisions such as a box of tissue paper and some brick pack milk in the fridge would have made the guest’s stay better. The unit gave the impression that the owner was only interested in providing a basic, no frills stay. Importantly, I rang the owner prior to driving to Sydney to ask if there were any electric car charges nearby. Her reply was that there are many electric cars in the Eastern suburb and thus there should be one nearby. She did not offer at all to locate one close by to the unit. I am glad that I didn’t drive the electric car for this trip as that would have added to the things I had to take care of, in addition to going to the supermarket to get the basic necessities that the unit did not provide.

The location was excellent, the place was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the morning sunlight coming through the window and the birds lifted my mood immediately!

I was a bit worried about getting water all over the floor in the bathroom cos there was no shower door, but I guess that might be a design necessity? Not a deal breaker tho

Wonderful location. Close to Bronte Beach and Bronte shops. Very conveniently furnished with all you need. Nice colours.
