Coogee Classic - Coastal Gem Close to Beach

Great location and everything you need

Very close to Coogee beach - just a short stroll which was lovely. Also a very good little restaurant almost next door.

We arrived at night and it was a little hard to find the right location of where the lock box was located. The entrance is pretty dismal and there was no lighting which wasn't very inviting. Kitchen looked fine - we didn't use it except to make coffee, and there was a coffee machine (but no milk frother which would have been great if available). The clothes washer was great. But the bathroom was very old with the shower located over a large old bath which meant you had to be aware of getting in and out and not slipping. The apartment itself was cold and felt damp. We had the 2 heaters going each night and even made use of the hot water bottle for the bed. But for me the thing I really objected to was paying a damage deposit that is only mentioned at the end of the T&Cs so make sure you are aware of this before booking as you get reminded 7 days prior to your stay - so you are outside of any free cancellation period.
