The apartment was really nice and neat, everything looked recently renovated with good finishings. The inside of the apartment was very spacious and could comfortably fit three adults, with one additional bed to spare. The location was excellent as it was directly opposite the road from the tidal pool and with easy access to the beach. The view of the ocean especially during sunrise and sunset were amazing. The apartment had wifi and a smart tv loaded with netflix, youtube, etc. The are a few bars and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance and a supermarket and mall within a 10 mins driving distance. You can easily get to Umhlanga, Durban, Ballito from here as the location is central. The apartment complex also has a nice pool and adjacent braai area.

The unit did not come with sufficient bath towels when we checked in due to some issue with booking.com not reflecting the number of persons who would be checking in. So only one towel was provided on arrival. With previous unit I've booked in that apartment complex, 4 towels are always provided as it is a 4 sleeper. I did indicate this to the host and he did send additional towels two days later. However as we needed to shower and use the beach upon arrival, I had to purchase additional towels for use on the two days before the additional towels were received. There was also an issue with the Wifi going down on one of the days, which disrupted my ability to work from the unit, however the host resolved the issue within a hour or so. So all in all the service received was very good. The only other thing to mention is that, unlike other apartments I've booked in that apartment complex, this unit is not serviced daily. This meant that we had to wash our own dishes, mop, sweep etc. Towels are also not replaced at all with clean towels. Not a major issue, but something to take into consideration especially if you are booking a long stay like we did. This is the only reason why I rating the unit 9/10 instead of 10/10.

The property is clean and quiet. Suitable for both work because of quietness and leisure as it has ocean view
