Downtown 2BR Stay 4 Min to Milwaukee Public Market

This was the perfect place to call home during our trip to Milwaukee. It was truly minutes away from so many of the places to see in downtown. Lots of food options were nearby. The residents of the building were friendly and quiet. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The view of the river was a great bonus. Parking is not available on site. We ended up paying a nominal fee for parking that was a block or so away. It was not a big deal since so many things were in walking distance and we felt completely safe leaving our vehicle there. Having a washer/dryer in the apartment was fantastic! Communication with the host was extremely prompt and helpful.

Not a complaint - more of a cautionary tale. The washing machine does not have a drain like most others do. The water collects in a reservoir that needs to be emptied after each load or two. We didn't know that and the machine started beeping at us. Be aware of this if doing laundry so you don't end up flooding the floor or having other issues.
