RETRO RETREAT, charming 3-bedroom house with AC in welcoming Lawrence

My wife, father and I found this incredible retro brick home to stay at for my son’s KU graduation weekend - blocks from the stadium. The front covered porch to relax on at night, and backyard deck to drink morning coffee (with light strands crisscrossing the yard at night) pulled us even further into its appeal. Inside, the retro vibe was like stepping back into time with nostalgic memories of family and wholesome values. The decor and furniture attention to detail was honestly like a movie set. The host Jessica was very attentive and left us a nice welcome note as their very first Vrbo guest. There were so many amenities within the kitchen and the bathrooms and bedrooms - each having Kleenex boxes - we’ve honestly never seen that level of care put into making someone feel at home! And everything was clean and new and the central air system cooled the entire house quickly. And if we needed something extra that required running to the store, they added an extra venmo purchase option on the honor system just in case - like a nice bottle of chilled wine. Even though it’s advertised as a one bathroom, when we ended up deciding to sleep downstairs - so my dad could have the upstairs bigger bed- it was nice there was also a 2nd downstairs toilet to use in the middle of the night. We only hope that we can find this place available next time we need it, but I’m sure it will go quickly for anybody lucky enough to get availability. Nicely done in your VRBO launch!
