Traeth Mawr is a wide, golden beach backed by dunes, ideal for swimming, family days out, and water sports including surfing and paddleboarding. On the other side of the estuary, The Parrog offers a more sheltered setting with a charming harbour, perfect for crabbing, kayaking, and enjoying relaxed waterside walks.
Visitors can enjoy a mix of independent boutiques, galleries, and cosy cafés, perfect for a leisurely afternoon browse. The town is also a great starting point for coastal walks, with stunning views across the bay and towards the surrounding hills, making it a favourite spot for both food lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Historic Cardigan is close by, with supermarkets, independent shops, cafés, restaurants, galleries, and the restored house and gardens at Cardigan Castle. The family-friendly beach at Poppit Sands is just 10 minutes away.
