The sleeping and living areas are separate; the sleeper sofa in the living room provides a third sleeping spot if needed—ideal for families with a child or a short getaway for three.
The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, microwave with baking function, and coffee maker, gives you complete independence. And if you’d like to swap the ocean view for proximity to the ocean: The restaurant “La Residenza” on the first floor serves pizza and pasta. You can enjoy breakfast right at the bakery next door.

The Karlshagen Beach Residence is located right on the beach on the sunny island of Usedom, separated from the white, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach only by the dunes. Right on the beachfront in the quiet northern part of the island, 12 bright, lovingly furnished vacation apartments ranging from 26 to 104 m² await you—all of which were extensively renovated in 2020/21.
Many apartments feature a private balcony with a view of the Baltic Sea and a fireplace—perfect for cozy evenings while the waves crash outside. The apartments feature stylish furnishings, comfortable double beds, a fully equipped kitchenette (dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, microwave, refrigerator), as well as satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.
Ideal for families: The flat, child-friendly sandy beach begins right outside the door. On the first floor, our pizzeria La Residenza treats guests to Italian specialties, ice cream, and cocktails. Playgrounds and the bakery with fresh rolls are less than 20 meters away.
Perfect for couples: Enjoy romantic sunsets from the balcony, relax in the evening by the crackling fireplace, and leave the stresses of everyday life behind. In the off-season, Karlshagen offers soothing tranquility with deserted beaches and crisp sea air. The Baltic Sea spas in Ahlbeck and Zinnowitz are easily accessible.
Dogs Welcome: Karlshagen offers two designated dog beaches, both within walking distance of the residence. Behind the dunes, expansive coastal forests invite you to take long walks. Your four-legged friend is warmly welcome in select apartments (8.50 per night). The tiled and vinyl floors are ideal for sandy paws.
The property features a lockable bike storage room with an outlet for charging e-bikes, parking spaces right next to the building, and a wide range of recreational activities in the immediate vicinity: boat and fishing trips, sailing, surfing, tennis, horseback riding, as well as the Peenemünde Historical-Technical Museum and the Trassenheide Butterfly Park.
