Seminar groups, clubs, and extended families will find plenty of space here for gatherings, anniversaries, or celebrations. The rustic group room with its cozy fireplace corner offers plenty of space to eat, celebrate, and play together. Your well-behaved family dog is warmly welcome to explore and enjoy the Baltic Sea region with you. 

Your hosts are farmers, artisans, and a physical therapist. The family, actively involved in the local community, offers all guests at the country house various additional services by appointment:

The country house is located west of the Baltic Sea resorts of Rerik and Kühlungsborn and the Hanseatic city of Rostock; east of the Baltic Sea island of Poel and the Hanseatic city of Wismar. A countryside getaway near the beach in a typical Mecklenburg village with a playground and soccer field, a child-friendly horse ranch, and wonderful bike trails leading into the Baltic Sea coastal region. Popular with cyclists, horseback riders, and water sports enthusiasts, especially due to its proximity to the beach on the Salzhaff Bay.

Idyllic and centrally located in the heart of the village. With plenty of energy and great ideas from the host family, a country house featuring modern, light-filled vacation apartments was built in 2026 right next to the hosts’ cozy home. 

Farm garden and pond at the country house
The 3,000 m² farm garden surrounding the country house offers space for cozy barbecue evenings, storage space for bicycles and surfboards, as well as parking spots.
From the well-maintained and natural garden grounds with old trees, there is a magnificent view of the village pond, cow and horse paddocks, and fields. A perfect vacation day ends with a bike ride, a day at the beach, or a trip to the Baltic Sea region—relaxed and stress-free.

Farm Animals

Our animals — horses and cows — all live in the immediate vicinity of the country house and are within walking distance. Our guests are, of course, welcome to interact with the animals. If you’re interested in feeding the animals, taking a guided tour of the barn, or taking a riding lesson, please feel free to speak directly with your hosts.

Ravensberg — a village with 300 residents, a small municipality in western Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, located between the Hanseatic cities of Rostock and Wismar, west of the Baltic Sea resort town of Rerik and not far from the Baltic Sea island of Poel.
