About this house rental
Maison de Guillegorce is a charming holiday home, completely renovated, located in the peaceful countryside of the Lot-et-Garonne, in La Sauvetat-du-Dropt. An old farmhouse divided into three houses, one part is occupied by the owners, while the other has been converted into comfortable and spacious accommodation. You can enjoy a quiet, green and authentic setting, while enjoying total privacy.
The house can accommodate 8 to 10 people, with the possibility of accommodating up to 12 people thanks to a luxury caravan located on the grounds (optional). It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and offers all the necessary comforts for stays with family or friends.
✨ The price includes bed linen, towels, end-of-stay cleaning and tourist tax, for a carefree stay.
🏠 The accommodation
The house offers approximately 208 m² of comfortable and bright living space.
On the first floor, you will find a large fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table, as well as a warm living room with comfortable sofas and a wood stove. A hall leads to a double bedroom (160x200 bed), a bathroom, as well as a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
Upstairs, the house offers a bedroom with double bed (160x200) and en-suite bathroom, a second double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together into a double bed, as well as a third bathroom. A large open mezzanine offers an additional relaxation area with a 180x200 bed.
🌿 Outdoor living
Outside, a private area is entirely dedicated to you with a large terrace overlooking the garden and the estate.
You enjoy a private swimming pool with sun terrace, deckchairs and parasols for moments of absolute relaxation. A large outdoor table allows you to share convivial meals in the open air. A table tennis table, a playground with football and footgolf goals, as well as a campfire area complete the outdoor facilities for evenings under the stars.
From the property, beautiful walks are within walking distance, especially towards the Lac de l'Escourou.

The area offers a perfect balance between tranquility and discovery. From the house you can explore hilly landscapes, sunflower fields, forests and charming villages typical of the South-West.
Local markets are among the must-sees: Eymet, Duras and Issigeac offer authentic atmospheres with local products, lively terraces and village life.
In summer, the night markets are particularly popular. Convivial tables, live music and regional specialities create a warm and festive atmosphere. Among our favourites: La Sauvetat-du-Dropt, Eymet, Monteton and Duras.
The region is also ideal for outdoor activities: hiking, cycling, canoeing on the Dordogne, tree climbing or swimming in the surrounding lakes such as Lougratte or Clarens.

We, Marcel and Niké, live on the same estate with our children Zara and Dean. We remain available when needed while fully respecting your tranquility and privacy during your stay.
On the grounds also live two small dogs, two cats and a few free-roaming chickens. Cats are not part of the accommodation, but can sometimes be curious if the doors are left open.

The gite is an amazing setting for a peaceful, relaxing stay. Marcel and Niké made every effort to make sure we were comfortable, suggesting good places to eat and local events. The pool is large for a gite and was excellent as it has been extremely hot so we used it daily. There are also plenty of places to sit in the shade throughout the property. The gite is an old building so there is character but it is beautifully appointed and has everything you need for a wonderful holiday.
