Domain surrounded by a large park with outdoor pool 80km from Bordeaux

The rental is a Chateau with an amazing pool and grounds. The pictures do not do it justice. The owner and the management service were easy to communicate and quick to respond to issues at the property. We stayed for one month and did day trips around the area. It is an extremely old building. The kitchen is large and well equipped for making meals and serving large groups of friends and family.

This house is so beautiful it is difficult to express in words. The photographs do not show just how amazing this place is. The grounds are extensive and the children and dogs had a fantastic time playing and exploring. The pool area is well maintained with plenty of seating and shade, and is fenced to prevent accidents. The house itself has plenty of comfortable accommodation (we were a group of 15) and with all necessary facilities for bathing, cooking etc. Apparently the owner's family had lived there for 500 years and the wealth of history was apparent throughout the house. I cannot emphasise enough how lovely this place is. Although the location is very rural it is only a short drive from a pretty town, Marmande, which is well supplied with supermarkets, plus outdoor market on Saturdays with local produce. There are good train links to Bordeaux, buses to Bergerac and other lovely towns within easy driving distance. I thoroughly recommend Beauvallon and hope that we will return in future.

Vom ersten Augenblick an verliebt. Das Haus ist voll mit Geschichte. Das ein oder andere Spinnenweb ist bei der Größe des Objktes und der Menge an Einrichtungsgegenständen einfach unvermeidlich. Wer auf der Suche nach Luxusurlaub ist, ist hier falsch. Wer Atmosphäre liebt und die Einsamkeit der Lage ist richtig. Wir haben jeden Augenblick genossen mit 10 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gewartet. Danke für die schöne Zeit
