LOOP Seoul Hotel Retreat by Anook Seoul Gangnam 1

⚠️ Guest must vacate from bed & bathroom from 11am to 3pm daily (Japanese style) ⚠️ New hotel that looks beautiful at first but the sleeping experience is so bad. And poor hospitality by the manager. The capsule is so small that you have to crawl inside on your knees and hands. No space to sit. At 165cm tall, if I sit on the mattress, I have to bend my entire neck! Single size bed, not super single. Height of a pillow width. Pillow is thin and firm memory foam. Super catastrophic. Lights in capsule is activated by access card which will blink fast in blue at night. Your light switch facing you is in blue too. Ground floor lobby sofa is not for guest. You can only use the second floor tables. All tables doesn’t NOT have electric socket! Manager ask me to use the one beside the dustbins near the floor to charge my laptop/phone. He has a paranoid behaviours of clearing guest items away on the kitchen area without permission or asking. It was small and neatly placed (I was heating up food or doing laundry). Happens on first 2 days. Artificial onsen is free only for private room. Capsule have to pay with 50% discount. I wish I hadn’t been so curious to stay here. Wanted to try the private room but given how poor the hospitality is (unless you are Korean), I would avoid. Most other capsule in Seoul are full height and won’t disturb your belongings. Korean Male Manager told me I can leave if I’m not happy and there won’t be refund. I am the only long term guest there staying for 6 nights. So disappointing. He tends to argue with every feedback I give. This place is not a “Retreat”, it’s a “nightmare”! Book elsewhere and go to Lei Spa onsen.

It’s a beautiful hotel and it’s brand new but it has to improve a lot in management I guess it’s because it’s just brand new and they are trying to figure out.
