The motel is about half an hour out of the main city but right next to the metro. The owner doesn't speak much English but always warmly greeted me, offered me water or juice and offered to carry my bags up and down the stairs. Good WiFi and air conditioning. Clean room and bathroom and felt safe as a solo female traveller.

The hotel is located right outside the subway station, making it very accessible and easy to find. The owner was pretty nice and friendly. Also, the rate was very low, even on weekends (still haven’t yet figured out why hotel rates are so insanely high in Seoul on weekends). Unfortunately, these are pretty much all the nice things I could say about my stay here. Prior to booking the room, I noticed that there were many reviews mentioning the cleanliness of the property, so I booked the room with the expectation that I would get a nice clean room. But, upon arrival, the room felt like it hadn’t been used for a LONG time since it was dusty all over the place. It was so unbearable that I had to wipe down the room with wet wipes. Not to mention the stains on the pillows and walls. I understand this is a motel, so it’s not gonna be as fancy. But the room I got was definitely not nice. Probably other rooms were nicer, and I just got unlucky.
