About this house rental

With views out across the fields this single storey cottage, perfect for families of all ages, has been converted to a very high standard from a former cow byre. It has lovely rural views and many exposed beams, making it a very relaxing holiday home which is also wheelchair friendly. Dairy Cottage is located on the owners' farm within walking distance of the pub at Bodle Street Green and close to Windmill Hill, which is between Battle and Hailsham. This property is the ideal family base for visiting Herstmonceux Science Centre and Drusillas Park and not far from Bedgebury Pinetum, with it's "Go Ape" tree top walk and for the grown ups, Batemans and the wonderful Pashley Manor Gardens are close by. If you're feeling energetic why not put on your walking boots and try the 1066 Walk or the Cuckmere Valley Trail and the seaside for a paddle is only seven miles away at Pevensey Bay. Shop: 2 miles Pub: 250 metres Coast: 7 miles
