    My husband and I stopped by Dogo Onsen during our Shikoku roadtrip for one night. The price for this hotel was rather reasonable considering the other hotels in the area were twice as expensive. However, that did not mean the quality was less! Everything about this hotel was perfect. Staff came outside to collect our car and park it for us after helping us with our luggage. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We wore the provided yukata outside to Dogo Onsen(they have rentals available for fancier sets but the free one provided was great!). We could easily walk back and forth as the hotel itself is quite close to the main area. The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast(which was amazing by the way!) and went to the remaining two onsens on our checklist. Right before checking out, we decided to go to the onsen located inside our hotel. They use the same water source as Dogo Onsen…and honestly??? It was just as good if not better. No line, multiple baths, a wet sauna, a cold bath, and free towels! It was the perfect end to our stay. I feel like I need to add more about breakfast: there were two sets to select from. I got the Western set and my husband got the Japanese set. Each came with refills of certain items( corn potage soup and bread/croissants for Western set, miso soup and rice for Japanese set). I highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be coming back!

    We booked a double room where the picture shown for the room type with 2 double beds, however, they told us the room type only has one bed and we were charged $80 to be changed with 2 beds. Bad representation.
