Escape to this smart ground-floor apartment in Scarborough’s stylish South Cliff area. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, this spacious and stylish home is the ideal accommodation option for small families or groups of friends who want to make unforgettable memories together on the Yorkshire coast. Spend happy days roaming around the ruins of Scarborough’s 12th century castle; and in the evening, come home to indulge in an al fresco dinner on the apartment’s rear patio.
Step inside and you’ll find a spacious hallway with a bench to sit on while you remove your sandy shoes. Head to the grand lounge and you’ll find an impressively-styled space that showcases a beautiful blend of modern design and period features. Make yourself at home before making your way to the open-plan kitchen/dining room to whip up some dinner for your loved ones. Gather everyone at the stylish dining table to eat or head outside the garden and dine alfresco on one of the two patios. After dinner, pour yourself a glass of wine and watch the stars come out, or head back to the lounge to relax in front of the TV. At the end of the day, there are two lovely bedrooms waiting for you – a king size bed and a twin.
Take a stroll along the long stretch of golden sand at Filey Beach (7 miles). While you’re there, check out Filey Brigg - a dramatic rocky peninsula that juts out into the sea and provides stunning views of the Yorkshire coastline. Alternatively, spend a wonderful afternoon at the Scarborough Fair Collection (4.5 miles) browsing its wonderful collection of antique cars, refurbished carousels and classic fair attractions.
