About this house rental

Summary:

Sip morning coffee in the sun-filled breakfast nook of this renovated 1950s ranch on a quiet Santa Rosa corner lot, then point the car toward Russian River Valley, Dry Creek, Alexander Valley, or Sonoma Valley tasting rooms — all within reach. Two bedrooms sleep 4 between a king and a queen, with two full baths, a private tree-shaded patio, and central AC for the warm afternoons home.

The Space:

Spend mornings on the private back patio with a pour-over and the Sonoma light, afternoons working through tasting flights in Russian River Valley or Dry Creek, and evenings around the dining table with a bottle from the day's barrel visits. Sugarloaf Ridge trails and Alexander Valley wineries are an easy drive when you want to roam further.

Step through the front porch into a renovated 1950s ranch where original hardwood floors and built-in storage carry the mid-century bones, and big windows keep every room bright. Sink into the sofa around the 54-inch smart TV in the open living area, with the dining table seating six on plush chairs and a bench just steps away.

Cook on the gas range in the open kitchen, with quartz counters and stainless appliances handling the prep while two more pull up to the breakfast bar. Linger over coffee in the breakfast nook tucked beside the windows — it's the quiet corner of the house in the morning.

OUTDOOR LIVING

Slide out to the back patio, where a wooden fence and mature shade trees keep things completely private. Cushy outdoor seating fits six for an afternoon glass of Sonoma red, with the corner-lot setting keeping the neighborhood hush intact.

Punch in the keypad code at the door; pull up to two cars into the driveway (no street parking).

The Neighborhood:

You've landed in a peaceful residential pocket of Santa Rosa where locals actually live, just minutes from everything that makes wine country special. Stroll 3 minutes to Willi's Wine Bar for small plates and local wines, or grab groceries at Pacific Market just 2 blocks away. When hunger strikes, Sandy's Take & Bake Pizza and CUPPA coffee are both within a 3-minute walk. The heart of downtown Santa Rosa lies less than 2 miles away, where you'll find the famous Russian River Brewing Company, the Charles M. Schulz Museum, and dozens of restaurants around Courthouse Square. Four world-class wine regions encircle you — Russian River Valley's Pinot Noirs 15 minutes west, Dry Creek Valley's Zinfandels 25 minutes north, Alexander Valley's Cabernets 30 minutes north, and Sonoma Valley 20 minutes south. For outdoor adventures, Spring Lake Regional Park offers 10 miles of trails and a seasonal swimming lagoon just minutes away.

Getting Around:

Santa Rosa is a natural hub for exploring Sonoma County — most of the region is within a 30-minute drive.

Other Things to Note:

The home stays naturally cool thanks to air conditioning throughout — a real luxury in wine country. Ring security cameras monitor the front door and backyard gate for your safety. While there's no pool or hot tub on-site, your private patio with gas grill creates the perfect outdoor living room under the shade trees. The Smart Lock means no keys to juggle when your hands are full of farmers market finds. The primary renter must be 21 or older. The renovated interior shines with modern updates while preserving charming 1950s details like the original hardwood floors and built-in storage. Pro tip: The breakfast nook gets gorgeous morning light — perfect for planning your day's wine country adventures over coffee.

House is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Upgraded baths and kitchen. Minimalistic in terms of furnishing and decor, although the kitchen is well equiped.
