It's a perfect location and works well with the dog. Nice area to walk the dog. The rooms are comfy and great for parking and car access from the room. The new revamp looks great. The desserts were excellent.

The aircon in the room wouldn't go below 23 and switched off in the night which was a little uncomfortable. The dinner menu is a little fancy, it would be nice to have some simpler dishes on the menu or some salads.

Fantastic location just off the motorway and excellent value for money. Our room was clean, modern and comfortable, and we loved being able to park directly outside. It was also great to have a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. The staff were warm and friendly, and dinner was a real highlight – delicious, high-quality food. Breakfast was good too. We would happily return.

Having stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions, but this is the first time booking with booking.com. They have done a extremely good job with the new restaurant having watched it develop over the year. The way the rooms are laid out are good as you feel independent. The location is good if you are on your way back to Calais or going South and you do feel safe if travelling by yourself.

I was disappointed with some of the staff and their attitude. There is a spa and a swimming pool and normally the reception give you the code so you can go for a swim. This was not offered to me and admittedly I could have asked but I should not have to. The restaurant, whilst the food was ok we were not impressed with the service. I think the staff need more training and maybe a table plan in the kitchen would help as there were a few hiccups along the way and we were not the only table that came across this. Having said that the waiter was obviously new and doing his best and he should have had more support from the managers. We made a mistake with our wine choice and the manager(?) said he would not charge for the bottle which we thought was generous and kind but the bill did include it which was a shame.
