The location was very convenient, in a quaint neighborhood close to downtown St. Raphael about a 10-15 min walk to cafes, restaurants, etc. The apartment was OK, a little dated, on the second floor, so if you don't like climbing stairs, this place is not for you. It had a small terrace which was pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and the AC, although old, worked fine the entire stay. It had every appliance needed, including a good washing machine.

We arrived late at night in Nice, and thankfully, we were picked up at the airport by friends. We had to go all the way to the agency to collect the keys from the mailbox. The agency is nowhere near the location of the apartment. If we had not had someone to pick us up at the airport and instead had taken the train from Nice to St. Raphael, like we had originally planned, we would have needed to take a taxi to Frejus to collect the keys and gone back to St. Raphael to be able to enter the premises. Same thing at the end of our stay. We had an early flight and our friend had to meet us at the train station at 6:00 AM to collect the keys from us. She later dropped them off at the agency. Very inconvenient! We paid extra for sheets and towels which were substandard. We ended up buying towels because the towels we received were very small and thin. There were no trashcans anywhere in the apartment. We called the agency, and later on that day, the neighbor downstairs brought us a bucket and some plastic bags for it, but the agency never called back to find out if our problem was solved. The door to the apartment was very difficult to operate; nothing like any doors we've ever encountered in out travels. There were no clear instructions as to how to operate the wifi, door, stove, and TV. In other places we have stayed, there is always an information sheet or folder with info on how to operate everything. The stove was working, but we could only get one burner to work.
