We booked this apartment at the very last minute, and the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating from the beginning. They even offered to drive us to the airport, which was far beyond what we expected. Although the booking was originally for two people, they treated our entire family with care whenever we faced any difficulty. I honestly cannot express my gratitude in words for their consideration and willingness to help with things that were not even their responsibility. The apartment itself is a very clean and well-organised one-bedroom apartment. The landlord does not speak English, but his daughter does, so communication was always easy and smooth. The apartment is about a 9–10 minute walk to both the main bus stop and Santa Maria delle Mole railway station (at our pace — Italians might get there in 5–7 minutes 😜). From there, it is easy to take a bus or train into Rome city centre. Ciampino Airport is also very convenient — it is less than 6 minutes by bus from the nearby bus stop, and by car it is only about 4 minutes away. A supermarket is around 10 minutes away, and there are several small local shops nearby, which was very convenient. It is an excellent option if you want to stay in rome and want an accommodation within budget. Rome can only enjoyed if you are ready to walk more than 15000 steps a day. During our stay we visited Lake Albano and Castel Gandolfo. Lake Albano was a wonderful swimming experience with very pleasant, clear water. You can also hire kayaks or small boats there. Just be prepared for a 45-minute downhill and uphill walk unless you take a taxi. Booking a taxi was a little challenging for us because we do not speak Italian.

One suggestion for future guests: it would be very helpful if the apartment information included details about the different types of transport tickets available for tourists, especially for local travel and travelling into Rome city centre, as the ticket options can be a little confusing for first-time visitors. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the Rome/Ciampino area.
