Residenze di Puglia Via Cavour

Clean. Comfortable. Great design. Double balcony. Great location.

Supplies a bit lacking in the kitchen. No dishwashing tabs or paper towels. Coffee machine not great.

The property was large and clean and just slightly outside of the main town with an 8-10 min walk into the main centre. Lots of cafes and restaurants within a short walk. The apartment is great size and good for a family of 4. The huge balconies were a nice added bonus.

After travelling Italy extensively over the last 10 years never once have I experienced the property manager being so unresponsive and non willing to provide a street address ahead of our arrival and insisting it will be provided 1 hour ahead of check-in. It may have been a language barrier (I do speak basic Italian and was conversing on WhatsApp in Italian) and did check at the time of booking that we could leave our luggage at the property and again a few weeks before we arrived and again the day before arrival that this would be possible. Our private transfer driver also found this unusual and even when we called the emergency contact number given we waited over 12 hours for a response we were told to send a message. We were very concerned that this may have been a scam. Unlike other reviews, there was no info on the property provided, just a WhatsApp message with the wifi code only. Totally fine, but just a bit disappointing and found Peppe quite rude. About the property - the beds were lumpy and there was a single top sheet provided only. The facilities were quite basic but looked good - totally fine for a few nights. Something to note, there were no utensils or cooking equipment in the kitchen. There was an old sponge and a few dishes and cups, but nothing in terms of basic meal prep items. Not too much of an issue, but if staying more than a few days something to consider. Overall, our stay was comfortable and ok, but our arrival and the lack of info shared really didn’t leave a great impression.
