Close to tram, great view of Mont Blanc from balcony. Only short ride to Geneve centre. Flat fully equipped and private underground parking space for a little extra mentioned upfront

Georges (the host) was very good at writing, in excellent English, to explain that his son Lucas would meet me at the apartment with the keys. I was late, but Lucas waited and explained all that was needed about the apartment. He said that he was available for my entire stay, should I need any help. The apartment itself was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the road, but beyond that were the snowy Alps. The kitchen contained lots of food and coffee, as well as a kettle, crockery, cutlery and saucepans to use on the hotplate. The washing machine and shower both worked well, and there was plenty of hot water. The wifi and TV also worked well. Georges really was an excellent host.

Not the host's fault, but the tram service from the stop outside the apartment was suspended for the weekend I was there, due to "manifestations"; there was a replacement bus service, but it was quicker to walk to the Swiss border to pick up a tram into Geneva. On my last evening, a shop just round the corner played very loud pop music so, even though it was very hot, I had to shut the windows to keep the noise out. I just chose the wrong weekend to stay here.

Posizione favorevole per visitare Ginevra. C’è un tram proprio sotto casa che conduce al centro di Ginevra in 27 minuti. Le corse vanno fino all’1 di notte e riprendono alle 6:30. Proprietario gentile e disponibile. Piacevole affacciarsi dal balcone e vedere le montagne in lontananza.

La casa affaccia su un viale molto rumoroso, sia per i mezzi che per gli schiamazzi notturni. Il bagno con la vasca e sopra la doccia con tendina sarebbe da rifare. Pulizie discrete, il letto era rifatto malissimo con lenzuola messe a caso e stropicciate. Dispensa rifornita con alimenti aperti, idem in frigorifero. C’era anche roba scaduta.
