El Industrial Apt For 3 People in Old San Juan

The location was great, the balcony was amazing, its literal steps away from 2 parking garages. The kitchen was cool, the bed was comfortable.

The room AC takes a bit to get going but it does the job. It's a 3rd floor unit with no elevator and the 3 floors hit pretty hard if you have luggage, but it's worth it.

Apt is clean and pretty. Pics don't do it justice. Plenty of towels. Bed was comfy. Fairly quiet for its location... Calle del Recinto is one of the busiest night spots in Old San Jose but mainly for restaurants, quiet bars, shops, and access to the street market with a block or so. The apt is on the street BEHIND Recinto so it's fairly quiet (but street noise can be heard). Split units in both the kitchen and bedroom worked great! I felt very safe, no worries there. Walgreens is about two blocks away. Starbucks less than a block.

THREE flights of stairs in Old San Juan is like FIVE flights in the continental USA! :-) Be prepared, but it's worth it. The street door sticks... you have to get used to it... put in the code, pull hard towards you then push away from you.... quickly. I would have loved to have some basics like salt, pepper, hand soap for the bathroom (there was plenty of shampoo though). There's a Delonghi (sp?) coffee maker but you will need to buy your own pods.
