The room was clean and as described. Receptionist greeted us and was very friendly. The room had a fan as it was during the heatwave. Nearby in walking distance was the Dog and Partridge Pub. We had lunch there. The location was ideal, it was near family we were visiting. Check out was easy and staff very friendly. Great value for money. If you are passing through and travelling on it's located near M62 and M6. Parking was no problem.

It was a heatwave so if you wanted air conditioning this isn't the place for you.There wasn't a wardrobe , only a rail and coat hangars. However, there was plenty of drawer space in the desk. Shower was small but functional.

We were a bit uncertain of this hotel from the outside impression but once in our room, it was fine. It's a little basic and could do with updating but we had a comfortable stay with everything we needed. It's good value and I would stay again if in the area. Local nature reserve was a nice place for a little wander. Coop and Sainsbury's just a few minutes away.

Not sure what it would be like if more busy. There are a lot of rooms but it was quite quiet when we were there (Sat night). Bathroom showing signs of wear but still very useable. Carpark and outside areas seemed rundown but it looked like they had CCTV.
