About this house rental
Nieuwe Niedorp sits in the heart of the Kop van Noord-Holland, surrounded by wide open polder scenery — canals, meadows and traditional Dutch farmhouses that have barely changed in centuries. The area is a cyclist's paradise: quiet dyke roads, endless green fields and villages well off the tourist trail.
Cycle along the Westfriesedijk, browse the weekly market in Schagen (10 minutes away) or explore the waterways by boat. For a day out, the historic towns of Alkmaar — famous for its cheese market — Hoorn and Enkhuizen are all within easy reach.
The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
On the ground floor you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 4, a cosy sitting area with TV — all with views over the water — and the bathroom, conveniently located on the same level.
Upstairs are three bedrooms: one double and two single rooms, each with its own wooden door for privacy. Bed linen is provided and made up ready for your arrival.
Outside, a paved terrace with a wooden jetty leads directly to the water — perfect for a morning coffee in the sun or a quiet evening outdoors.
Please note: towels are not provided — please bring your own. The staircase to the bedrooms is steep; please keep this in mind if you have mobility limitations. The shed next to the cottage is not accessible to guests.
