Less than 50 km from Amsterdam, this beautiful vacation home in a typical Dutch style is located in a vacation park between the North Sea and the IJsselmeer. Whether you enjoy water sports, hiking, the wild nature of the North Sea and the North Holland Dune Reserve, or the tranquility of the IJsselmeer; whether you’re planning a trip to Amsterdam or simply want to enjoy the Dutch atmosphere—you’ve come to the right place.

The house offers 70 m² of living space spread over two floors, with a garden of approximately 430 m² that is largely overgrown with vegetation. The spacious, fully covered terrace invites you to relax in any weather. The house is suitable for 4–5 people and possibly a baby or toddler, for whom there is also a versatile travel crib. The first floor features the bathroom and one of the two bedrooms with a double bed (160x200 cm). In the adjoining, light-filled living-dining area—which offers a beautiful view of the garden—you’ll find a cozy sitting area, the dining area, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and refrigerator. You can reach the second, larger bedroom via the stairs in the living room. It features a double bed (180x200 cm) and another single bed. This bedroom provides access to the balcony.

Check-in is completely flexible via a key safe.

Recreatiepark West-Friesland features a large outdoor pool with a separate children’s area. There is also a children’s playground, bocce courts, a tennis court, a ping-pong table, a soccer field, and a basketball court—all of which are, of course, available for free use. A snack bar provides refreshments, and on weekends there is also a restaurant.

In the town of Opmeer itself, there is a shopping street (1.5 km, 4 min. by car) with a supermarket, a fish snack bar, various restaurants, an ice cream parlor, and shops for daily necessities.

Depending on traffic, you can reach beautiful, expansive North Sea beaches and dune landscapes (e.g., Petten aan Zee, Sint Maartenszee, Callantsoog, and Egmond aan Zee) in about 25 minutes by car. The IJsselmeer (e.g., Medemblik, 15 km) is about a 15-minute drive away. The nearest major city is the beautiful historic town of Hoorn (13 km, 15 minutes by car). Alkmaar is 23 minutes by car (23 km), and Amsterdam is 39 minutes by car (47 km).
