About this house rental
Welcome to Wytcliffe, a well-kept & comfy historic home, in pastoral NY, 10 mins from Millerton, Amenia and Pine Plains.
A magnificent kitchen is perfect for family gatherings, featuring a Wolf range, Subzero fridge, Breville barista-style coffee-maker, and a dining table that comfortably seats eight.
From the dining area, you can step outside to the patio where you can use the BBQ, or relax in the Adirondack chairs surrounding the firepit while listening to the sound of the nearby meandering stream.
Downstairs also includes a living room with corner sofa, large TV, 'Sonos' speaker system, a large Office space, two closets and a powder-room.
All bedrooms include premium mattresses, linens from Brooklinen, soft white towels, closet space, and an ensuite bathroom. The rooms are configured as follows:
SECOND FLOOR
Room 1: King bed, seating area and fireplace, ensuite with heated flooring, large double-head shower and a Japanese-style toilet.
Room 2: Queen bed, ensuite with heated flooring, large double-head shower and a Japanese-style toilet.
THIRD FLOOR
Room 3: Twin XL x2 OR split King bed x1, ensuite with heated flooring & towel rail, large double-head shower and double vanity.
Room 4: Queen bed, ensuite with bathtub and overhead shower.
Also on this floor is a spacious 'flex' area which can be used for yoga, exercise, a play area for children, and additional storage.

We enjoy high speed internet provided by Optimum. Guests make and receive calls by turning on 'Wifi calling' on their cell phone due to v. limited cell service.
The house is equipped with a back up generator to provide critical power during power cuts and storms.
If you're travelling with children, we offer a high-chair, pack and play, and plastic utensils and plates.
In transparency:
-Guests are welcome to enjoy the property grounds - children should be supervised given the small stream in the back garden and proximity to the road.
-The attic, basement and outdoor shed are not part of the rental. While there is ample parking, we do not offer a garage space.
-Propane fireplaces may be used, and must be supervised at all time/switched off before leaving the house. At this time, the fireplace in the living room should not be used.
-All guests are provided with a unique digital door code to access the property. The house must be kept locked at night, and when the property is left unattended.
-For everyone's safety and security 'Ring' cameras are situated in key points on the exterior of the property.
