An invitation to travel back in time, history and... with a renovated gîte, for a relaxing holiday!
Immerse yourself in the history of the castle, destroyed in the 16th century and then rebuilt in the 17th century. Named after this historic building, it was Jean de Jean, Procurator to the Seneschal of Toulouse in 1604, at the time of the Capitouls of Toulouse, who undertook the reconstruction. Then, it was a new buyer in the 18th century, Jean Toulza, who made modifications to the castle and built the two wings on either side of the seigniorial residence, where the cottage is located.
Marie-Paule and Jean-Jacques, the owners, gradually gave life to this place steeped in history, and allowed you to enjoy a holiday at the castle! They kept an old arcade, now present at the top of the staircase of your house, as well as the exposed beams and fairground bricks on the façade. Decorated in part with family furniture, it is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. On site, you can swim in the large swimming pool and enjoy walking paths, in the shade, and the park.
You will also be close to the vineyard of the Frontonnais, the wine of the Toulousains! the pink city is 17km away, Albi 50km, Carcassonne 90km, Montauban 33km, Toulouse Blagnac Airport and Matabiau train station 30 minutes away, the castle of Bonrepos-Riquet (the inventor of the Canal du Midi) 12km away, the forest of Buzet sur Tarn 10km away, the Natura Game park 6km away, the Cité de l'espace 17km away, the machine hall 10km away: something to keep you busy during your holidays.

The cottage:
-Ground floor: Large living room with equipped kitchen open to dining and living area, laundry room, separate toilet.
1st FLOOR: Landing with a sofa bed and library area, 1 bedroom with 160x200 bed, 1 bedroom with 2 beds 90x200 or 1 bed 180x200, shower room, separate toilet.
Outside, you will have access to a private terrace with garden furniture, dining area and barbecue. The pool is to be shared with the owners.
