David and Nadine are wonderful hosts! We loved how personable they were and they didn’t use the pool or boost us very often, so it felt private. It’s the best villa holiday we’ve had in many years, as always with pros and cons: Pros - Near good bakeries - lovely view over the hills - Pool close to house and private - Secure property and felt safe - David is amazing at caring for the guests, they even bought us wine, saucisson and breakfast! Couldn’t ask for more - Lovely fig tree on site, kept us well supplied! (August) - good access to Acro branch, via ferrata, cycling and attractions - Well cleaned by Nadine in person - Available quickly for any repairs on site - Has great air con on site, fantastic in the summer! - Great outdoor kitchen, BBQ and gas cooking area. Very nice Cons - Near autoroute - can hear it at night - I wouldn’t bring 8 people here, really 6 max - Car bumper scratches badly on entry to the drive. Need to use some wood to stop it bottoming out! - pool tiles very slippy when wet - beds not very comfortable, was very glad to get back to our beds at home - kitchen not super well designed. Fridge and microwave in unusual spots - Pretty expensive for what it is, maybe would expect a better standard for the price - Drive way needs building properly (loose stones) Overall one of the better villas we’ve stayed in over the last few years, but could be better for what is quite a high cost and asking price
