Dragonfly Ridge is an elevated Hill Country retreat set between Canyon Lake and New Braunfels, thoughtfully designed for gathering across generations. Created as a place for owners to welcome their adult children and grandchildren, this is not a typical short-term rental — it is a home built for connection, comfort, and time well spent together.

From the moment you enter, vaulted ceilings and natural light create a sense of openness and ease. The heart of the home is the spacious open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area — ideal for shared meals, holiday mornings, and relaxed evenings in. The beautifully appointed kitchen offers generous counter space and seating, making it just as suited to celebratory family dinners as it is to quiet morning coffee.

The home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests, with a maximum of 10 adults.

The king primary suite is designed as a peaceful retreat for the hosts of the gathering. With direct access to the rear porch, a spacious en-suite bathroom, and an exceptionally large walk-in closet, it offers privacy and room to settle in for longer stays.

A queen bedroom also enjoys porch access and its own rocking chairs — perfect for slow mornings overlooking the Hill Country landscape.

The third bedroom features twin XL bunks sleeping four, offering flexibility for children, teens, or additional family members. An oversized sectional in the grand room comfortably sleeps two adults or up to four children, allowing for larger multi-generational stays. With two full bathrooms and an additional half bath, the layout supports group comfort with ease.

Outdoor living is central to the Dragonfly Ridge experience. The expansive rear deck extends the gathering space outdoors, featuring comfortable seating, a mounted outdoor television, and room for grilling and game-day barbecues under the Texas sky. Two of the bedrooms open directly onto the porch, where rocking chairs create quieter corners for sunrise coffee or evening conversations. The yard provides open space for children to play while adults relax nearby, maintaining an easy flow between indoor and outdoor living.

The location offers the best of the Hill Country lifestyle. Canyon Lake is just minutes away for boating, swimming, and scenic shoreline views. The Guadalupe River provides tubing and riverside recreation during warmer months. Just moments from the home, Summit Resort offers seasonal day passes and a convenient tubing shuttle, giving guests easy access to river adventures without the logistics.

A short drive brings you to the historic Gruene district for boutique shopping, riverside dining, and live Texas music, while downtown New Braunfels offers bakeries, Landa Park, Schlitterbahn, and local events throughout the year.

Dragonfly Ridge was designed to be a place guests return to - a refined yet welcoming home where generations gather, meals stretch long into the evening, and mornings begin slowly in rocking chairs overlooking the Hill Country.

For compliance and security, a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a $1500 security hold are required prior to arrival. As an alternative to the security hold, guests may opt to purchase a non-refundable $55 damage waiver policy.
