The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside there is a gravelled area with furniture and barbecue. 1 Primitive Mews is an ideal romantic base for exploring the area.. One small well-behaved dog welcome with shared use of a 3-acre grass paddock, where dogs can run off lead Second dog at owners discretion - costs may apply, please call to confirm. Note: This property accepts minimum 2 night stays. Please note this property is only able to accept 7 night stays over Christmas and New Year, your stay must begin on the correct changeover day.
The Neighborhood:
The village of Chelmorton is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The village boasts a village shop and pub which serves good food. Chelmorton has a fascinating historic landscape of 'fossil' arable strips enclosed within drystone walls and the village has a lovely medieval church of St John the Baptist.
