Crosby Cottage, a single-storey cottage, consists of a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, and toaster, a utility with washing machine, and a living/dining room with Smart TV and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and two singles. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a front non-enclosed garden, plus a rear enclosed garden with furniture, summer house, and mature shrubs, and off-road parking for one car plus roadside parking for one car. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 0.3 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included. Crosby Cottage offers a splendid retreat, whatever time of year. Note: Steps down to property with hand rail. Note: The garden is enclosed. Note: Check-in 4pm, check-out 10am. Check in days are Monday or Friday only. Minimum stay is 3 nights.

Wooler is a delightful, historic market town on the banks of the River Till, one of the tributaries of the Tweed, nestling in the foothills of the Cheviots which form part of the Pennine Way. Known locally as 'The Gateway to The Cheviots', Wooler has a selection of hotels and eating places and offers a magnificent location for exploring the whole of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, Wooler is just a short drive away from the historic town of Alnwick with its famous Castle and Gardens, and the well preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Chillingham Castle with its ancient herd of wild white cattle and Coldstream, just over the Scottish border, are also a short drive away.
