The property was excellent and had a living/dining and kitchen with the bedroom upstairs overlooking the sea. The property owner Anne and her husband were very kind and provided relevant information on how to get around Amalfi, Positano and other towns.

If you take the bus to the village it is a steep walk up the stairs which may be challenging for older folks or if you have kids. Other than that there is nothing to dislike about the property.

A small, cosy detached house, very clean and well presented. Nicely furnished and well equipped. It has a nice private terrace. We were pleased to find a bottle of wine and Croissants on our arrival. About 310 steps to reach the property from the main bus stop. There is a local bus but we didn’t wait for it, we took the steps. There are also many steps beyond the small house if you need a mini-mart or a pizza restaurant locally. The owner’s agent kindly picked us up from the bus stop at the Belvedere Hotel on arrival.

A kettle would be a good addition to the kitchen in our opinion. A couple of extra pillows would be great as the pillows were very flat. We found the mattress a bit hard for our liking. WiFi was slow at times and disconnected often during our stay. Our own phones didn’t get a good connection in the area. Lighting in the living/kitchen area was very bright as they are fluorescent lights. We didn’t use the terrace because of a very loud barking dog at the next house, nor did we open windows as we would not have been able to sleep. It was non stop after about 5pm. We did let the owner know and she understood our concern and tried to have it stopped but this was not successful. We stayed in great places in Naples, Positano and Capri and each were perfect, so we were not being uber fussy. Although a very lovely location not quiet or relaxing for us.
