We could not be more happy with our stay at Vivenda do mar.  The host was exceptionally friendly and hospitable.  Nothing was too much trouble and we felt so well looked after.  Marc thought of everything to make us comfortable and gave us so much information so that we could have the best time possible in Madeira.  The accommodation was impeccable. Cleanliness was 10/10 the place tastefully decorated to a very high quality standard. Kitchen is perfect if you love to cook, the bathroom is beautiful, the bed is extremely comfortable, And the seating in the lounge and outdoor patio area are amazing. With this stay you are in an exceptional location with mountain landscape at the rear of the property that will take your breath away and the sea just a 2 minute walk to the front!  It gets the best weather on the island also we were told, that seems to be always warm and sunny.  The small village has many places to eat and drink with reasonable prices and friendly staff. Honestly could not recommend this place highly enough. You need to stay here!

Nothing at all we didn't like.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are top priorities. The apartment was spotless, and everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was exceptionally comfortable and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary utensils and appliances—nothing was missing. It truly felt like a place where you could comfortably live, not just spend a few nights. We especially appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property. Complimentary water and cookies were provided upon arrival, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The owner is also planning to add a spa area in front of the property, which will make this already outstanding accommodation even more special and further elevate the guest experience. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Madeira and would gladly stay here again.
