Casa Carneirinho by Olá Madeira

The house exceeded our expectations! It is incredibly spacious, featuring 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (though a couple could benefit from a little renovation). The outdoor patio is lovely, complete with a large fig tree that provided fresh fruit for breakfast. The location in Paul do Mar is perfect if you want to escape the chaos of Funchal. While you can't get everywhere in minutes, that is exactly the point! It is a wonderfully peaceful area. The views are absolutely amazing, nestled right at the foot of steep cliffs with the ocean directly in front of you. Some rooms have beautiful balconies with immediate sea views, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredible. Our host was welcoming and helpful, even greeting us with a nice bottle of wine, and was kind enough to wait for us after our flight and luggage collection were delayed.

The only minor critique is that the property's inventory communication could be a bit more accurate. We asked ahead of time about specific essentials (like cooking oil, laundry detergent, and hair dryers) so we could grocery shop before arrival. We were told everything was provided, but there was no oil or detergent when we arrived (though the host kindly brought them on day two). Conversely, we were told there was only one hair dryer, so we packed two extra ones, only to find three already at the house. Accurate info would have saved us some luggage weight and space! Overall, though, it was a fantastic stay and we highly recommend it!

Неймовірно простора та атмосферна вілла! Багато місця в кімнатах, краєвиди на море. Також красиве подвірʼя з квітами та місцями для відпочинку чи прийому їжі. Поруч хвилі моря, спокійне село та захоплюючі краєвиди. Дякую за пораду власників щодо рибних закладів на вечерю. Було неймовірно смачно! І взагалі приємна комунікація з власниками та персоналом!

Я б порадила власникам змінити подушки, додати односпальні ковдрі та нові матраси для більшої зручності та комфорту.

Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sehr warmer Empfang. Unkomplizierte Übernahme und Abgabe. Wünsche wurden sofort erledigt, volles Engagement für das Wohl der Gäste. Super schönes, gut gelegenes Haus mit großzügigen Räumlichkeiten und gut ausgestatteter Küche. Sehr zu empfehlen!
