The apartment is in a great location next to a lovely park and within easy walking distance of the city centre. It was modern, very clean, and felt safe throughout our stay. The huge TV was a nice bonus for relaxing with Netflix in the evening, and the bedding and towels provided were of a good quality. The host was easy to contact and responded quickly to the few questions we had before and during our stay. Although it's an apartment building, it was surprisingly quiet throughout our stay. We slept with the windows open and there was very little noise from either the building itself or the street outside. As we were only staying for one night, we didn't use the tea and coffee facilities, but there was a lovely café just a short walk away that served a great-value breakfast (a hot drink, juice, and either a pastry or a crêpe) for just €6.50. Parking was included, which was a real bonus. We did have a little difficulty finding the entrance to the car park, but that was mostly my fault for not asking for directions beforehand. There are quite a few one-way streets in the area, so it's easy to miss the entrance on your first attempt.

Nothing really. During the heatwave the apartment was understandably hot, although that would have been the case almost anywhere. Air coolers were provided, which was thoughtful, but I'd never used this type before and didn't realise they needed water in the tank to work properly until late in the evening. That was entirely down to my own lack of experience rather than the apartment itself, and it certainly wouldn't stop us staying here again
