We had a great stay, the bathroom, fitted kitchen and worktops were all clean and newly fitted, the bed is really comfortable, there are plenty of electrical sockets, nice big mirrors and the bed linen/towels are good quality. It is literally just 2mins from the promenade (the bottom of road comes out by the i360). There are restaurants on the street, but it was still quiet (the area is not as lively as The Lanes). We can’t say we disliked anything, there were a couple of small points we raised with the owner, but nothing that detracted from our stay. Worth noting: It is on the second floor so there are stairs up to this property. There wasn’t a tv when we stayed - but that didn’t bother us. The balcony is a rooftop terrace, which you can see the sea and i360 from if you look to the right, it could be smartened up a bit to match the standard of the rest of the property.

Our hosts were very responsive. There were a couple of 'important teething' problems and they worked quickly to resolve them. They made sure we were welcomed. The flat is simple and easy to use as a base. Everything in the flat is new. The bed and the bedding were very comfortable. It is located in a vibrant, lively street in Brighton that offers a lot of good restaurants. It is also close to lots of bus routes.

The conversion of the flat is so new it would benefit from some checking. We loved the patio space but it needs some attention. The equipment in the kitchen was sparse and didn't match the quality of the cooker etc. There is a good bath and shower but the screen is fixed so it is very difficult to reach the taps. You should know the flat is at the top of the building and there are a lot of stairs. (Byung very kindly carried our suitcases up when we arrived and down when we left.)
