A Country Stay

We booked this location as we wanted to be in the country & at farm. It was low season so no other guests the second night and only other other the first so very very quite. We had the Hay room which was very unique- the bedding was placed on Hay bales & some seating also. There was no dust or smell from the bales & the bed was very comfy. The entire place was extremely clean. It.had been raining.for days before we arrived & so the walking tracks in the.area were very muddy but we did do walk to Monte which was lovely but sadly everything was closed as it's low season. But i can see how it would be brilliant is the summer & spring months & would recommend a visit here.

Quaint room, but overall didn't exceed expectations

Breakfast was great and the hotel itself is nice, as well as its location.

No information provided at check in (breakfast time, check out time, WiFi password etc) The room was very dark, as well as the bathroom (impossible to put make up on and get ready for a wedding), no full length mirror. We asked for extra blankets and we were given a duvet cover only. Asked for iron and weren't provided with an iron board.

Good for a 1 night stop over.

The staff were very friendly. Easy parking. Location was great for dogs with plenty of places to walk. Breakfast was perfect with nice coffee, fruits and some home made cakes.

The apartment didn’t smell great. The bed was super hard and the chairs down in the kitchen area were not usable. The chairs were worn with springs pushing through. The restaurant was very overpriced (in our opinion) and not good value for money.

As described. Rural farm stay. Staff, likely the owners, extremely accommodating. Close to Milan and Como. Food was excellent. Lots of mountain biking. Great scenery.

Not sure there was really AC. But even in July when we stayed, it was nice. Cool nights and open windows with a fan were totally sufficient. Very comfortable. Bring an electric cooler to keep a few items in the room such as beer, wine, and charcuterie.

Beautiful place but misleading information on booking and so many things need fixing

A beautiful place located in the mountains, with great views. Good staff, but they only speak Italian.

We rented Casa del Custode 2-bedroom apartment for two nights. The staff only spoke Italian, so I couldn't communicate properly with them while there, so I gathered our complaints and I sent them an email in Italian, but haven't gotten any response. 1. On booking.com it is stated that there is air-conditioning in the rooms, but there isn’t. I canceled my booking in another hotel and booked this hotel for twice the price because of air-conditioning. We’re sensitive to sounds and close the window at night. One we had to open the windows because there wasn’t air-conditioning, but there were noises from the street so we barely had any sleep. 2. Wi-Fi is worked occasionally and disconnected all the time. It took us over 20 minutes to connect one night. Especially frustrating because there’s no cellular service in the area at all. 3. There was a strong unpleasant smell on the first floor of our apartment. Possibly cleaning products, but it’s very strong. 4. The refrigerator barely working, leaked from the freezer and smelled of rotten food 5. The apartment wasn’t cleaned during our stay. It said “daily cleaning” on my booking. 6. There was no net on the window in the kids’ room. No air-conditioner and I couldn't open the windows because of the mosquitoes. 7. The toilet flush didn't stop the water. It took multiple attempts to stop the water from flowing. 8. There was almost nothing left to eat for breakfast at 10:10 in the morning. 9. The location of the hotel is quite remote. The narrow gravel road that leads to the hotel will take you more than 10 minutes - bear that in mind since you'd have to add that extra time to any travel. 9. The hotel is beautiful and in a beautiful place, the staff is very welcoming and nice but the things above made us feel unwelcome here.

There’s no airconditioning even though booking said there was (temperature was ok) the curtains in the room were very see through There very many mosquitoes so bring protection! Staff was friendly but not service minded they were not interested in the guests or gave any tips Breakfast was Italian (sweet) nice but every day the same and hardly any fruit Diner was ok but very expensive

Amazing hotel, incredible area, wonderful staff.

Incredible property located between Vinyards in the gorgeous Italian countryside. All the staff were so friendly and didn’t stop to make us feel at home. The breakfasts we great and every meal we had was incredible. Special mention to the staff who would bring us drinks and apperitivos without asking. The two bedroom farm house is definitely worth staying in!

Everything about the stay was exceptional - the rooms, the setting, the staff, the food - it was absolutely incredible. If we weren’t already married I’d want to go back and get married there! A truly magical place where we felt totally relaxed and free to explore, surrounded by incredible countryside and amazing food and wine, and breakfast was always delicious!

Quiet and enjoyable weekend surrounded by the hills.

The location is amazing, beautiful house surrounded by green hills. The staff was really friendly and happy to accomodate any needs. From the location there are different paths to walk or to cycle an the visit to the pigs and to the apple trees was particularly liked by our kids.

We didn't find the beds particularly comfortable. The mattresses were quite thin and on a wooden plank.

Extremely noisy place, unfriendly and not professional staff

This place is advertised as a quiet stay but it is very noisy. There was a wedding in the hall when we arrived at 19h, we had to have dinner while listening to very loud and unpleasant music because of the wedding. We complained about it and they said that music would stop at 20h. However, the party continued elsewhere until 5 am and we could not sleep at all. Nobody was in the reception nor answer the phone at night. When we complained the next morning, they did not even apologize. Furthermore, they don’t speak English and the food at the restaurant is not good.

Charming, quirky and great place for a relaxing short break.

Breakfast was a pleasant buffet, friendly and attentive staff. Dinner was excellent, all local produce and wines. Property was charming and rustic with delightful design touches. Lovely countryside for walking and a good centre from which to visit Como and other lakeside resorts.

Very little we didn’t like. If being very fussy could say the shower was a bit primitive - but personally not fussed by that.

Absolutely recommend this awesome property if you want a week-end away of the city.

Hidden gem, with the best service in Italy so far! We were expected, awaited for. We stayed in this hotel as attending a wonderful wedding that was taking place there and we felt so special, almost as if we were the newly weds ourselves. Calling one day before to inform about an allergy requirement was no issue what so ever and was REALLY taken care of. Great Zen room with the pleasure of, for once, NOT having any TV in the room. This was really great. Awesome bed as well.

Struttura elegante, accogliente. Stanze curate nei dettagli. Molta cura ai particolari, negli arredi. I colori, l'atmosfera. Assolutamente consigliato. La stanza all'arrivo e profumatissima, letto super comodo. Stanza Zen bellissima, mi è piaciuta molto, trasmette un senso di pace, relax calore e coccole.

Nulla che non mi sia piaciuto, solo due piccole mancanze. In fase di prenotazione era riportato che in stanza avrei trovato succhi di frutta dell'oasi, ma erano mancanti.. Bollitore per te e caffè, ma mancava il caffè. Avevo chiesto di poter anticipare la colazione, e molto gentilmente la mia richiesta è stata accolta. Purtroppo la colazione era parziale. Brioche non pronte, succhi non pronti. Non ha comunque inciso sul complessivo del mio soggiorno. Tornerei con piacere, anzi, mi piacerebbe poterlo fare,godendo appieno dei servizi offerti.

Es war sehr besonders und komplett was anderes! Habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt . Mein Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber. Ich hatte das mit dem Stroh. Ich war auf der Durchreise und daher hatte ich nicht viel Zeit um dort zu bleiben was schade war. Die Umgebung läd zum Wandern und spazieren gehen ein , es ist sehr Idyllisch 😍. Ich komme definitiv wieder ❤️

Eine Oase der Ruhe und Erholung im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Der Bio-Hof hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Jedes Detail der Einrichtung, das mega gute Frühstück und das herrvorragende Abendessen vom Chefkoch Nicholas der nicht nur köstliche Gerichte zaubert sondern uns auch noch mega unterhalten hat. Die gesamte Crew ist sehr herzlich und bemüht gewesen unseren Aufenthalt zu einem besonderen Erlebnis zu machen. Ich habe auch zwei Massagen bei Elena gebucht, die zauberhafte Engelshände besitzt. DANKE AN ALLE FÜR ALLES. WIR KOMMEN WIEDER !!!

Luogo ideale per rilassarsi circondato dalla natura, Struttura realizzata ed arredata con gusto e raffinatezza con particolare attenzione ai dettagli ed alla sostenibilità dei materiali utilizzati. Letti estremamente confortevoli in camere spaziose ed accoglienti. Ristorante all'altezza con prezzi commisurati alla qualità dei prodotti. I trattamenti estetici sono stati di alta professionalità.

Struttura bellissima, attenzione discutibile verso il cliente

Struttura davvero incantevole immersa nel verde, ben curata, pulita, e la stanza davvero bella e ben caratterizzata. Il giardino interno illuminato dalle lucine è magico con il calar della sera.

L'attenzione pressoché inesistente verso il cliente, durante il nostro soggiorno era previsto un matrimonio, pertanto fino alle 22:30 abbiamo dovuto sentire un vociare davvero fastidioso, nel pomeriggio diciamo che il caos è più giustificabile anche se ingiusto dover tollerare ciò, perché se si sceglie questo tipo di struttura lo si fa per evadere dal caos cittadino e non per ritrovarsi in un trambusto tra musica a tutto volume e schiamazzi vari (si potevano non rendere disponibile la struttura in quella giornata) È davvero un peccato perché sarebbe bastato almeno al mattino durante la colazione chiedere semplicemente un qualcosa, o scusarsi, ed invece no, una volta pagato niente... Un posto da sogno da favola ma onestamente basterebbe davvero poco per renderlo UNICO
