This single-storey retreat is based near the town of Oakham and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Please note: only one infant can be accommodated in this property.
The Space:
Seaton is close to the Rutland town of Oakham. Containing three bedrooms that are made up of two doubles, one of which boasts an en-suite, as well as a twin/double, along with a family bathroom, the property can sleep up to six people. The interior of the property also includes an open-plan living area hosting a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. To the outside, you will find ample off-road parking, lawns and a patio with furniture and a barbecue. Seaton is a stylish getaway in a perfect rural location. Please Note: Bookings at this property must be a minimum of 2 nights.

Exton is a village set in the East Midlands county of Rutland. It has The Fox and Hounds public house overlooking the tree-planted green, with the nearest town being Oakham. This town boasts a combination of stone and thatched buildings, a range of shops, as well as pubs, bars and eateries. The Rutland Water Nature Reserve offers watersports, a water adventure park, birdwatching, a sailing club and fishing opportunities, with the Rutland Water Golf Course overlooking the lake.

I have written about the faults we encountered to the CEO of Sykes Holidays and asked for his reactions to my description of minimal cleaning , a missing instruction book, a horrible staining in both lavatories and the shower, a cupboard door off its hinges, used bedclothes thrown into a wardrobe etc.
