The living areas in this single-storey home consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Smart TV, DVD player, iPod dock, a selection of games, and woodburning stove, and a conservatory. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size (zip/link) with en-suite, and a family room with Smart TV, serviced by a shower room. Outside there is a patio with furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog welcomed (livestock nearby) but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair. Laird House offers a delightful base for a Dumfries and Galloway escape. Note: Owners live on site next door. Note: Wheelchair friendly with ramps and larger shower room. Note: Riding arena and stables on site, please contact the owner for details. Dominated by its stunning town hall, the small town of Lochmaben rests in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. With a small range of amenities, it also offers five lochs, some known for their sailing and fishing. Lochmaben is also home to some fascinating castle ruins and an 18-hole golf course, the 53-mile long Annandale Way walking path runs through the village. From here you can visit the well-appointed town of Lockerbie, also home to a golf course. The market town of Dumfries is just seven miles away and ensures an excellent day out with its stunning architecture, things to do and the picturesque River Nith running through it.
