We had a really lovely family holiday, three adults, two children and a dog in this exceptionally well maintained, spotlessly clean and spacious house. The only drawback was that the house was on the main road between Dumfries and Kilmarnock so there was no escaping the noise of traffic. However a 10 min drive brought us into Dumfries, the home of that great poet, Robert Burns 🌹 and which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. Also recommend visiting Caerlaverock Castle for an afternoon out. Thank you to Craig for the welcome pack of wine and biscuits and for making the house so comfortable for all age groups. We slept like logs in the most cozy of beds and the bonus was the playground right behind the house. Delightful to look out on so much greenery with the hills and cairn behind. We loved it and our first trip to Dumfries and Galloway. Strongly recommend!👍🏾 Mary and James (from Armagh), Joanna, Eimear, Iona and Hamish ( from Edinburgh)
